John Merriweather, Principal Broker

Professional Background:

John L. Merriweather is the President and CEO of GO Companies.  He sets and champions the company’s strategic vision and direction with an uncompromising focus on service, performance, and providing extraordinary value to clients.  Under John’s servant, inspirational, and visionary leadership, the company is recognized internationally as a premier and go-to destination service partner.

Before founding the company in 1998, John worked in corporate education and quality management for a distribution company in Carmel, Indiana.  John launched his career in the United States Army in 1990, where he served proudly for three years including a tour in Operation Desert Storm.

John is a graduate of Indiana University and he has completed masters in business coursework at the University of Indianapolis. John also graduated from the executive education programs at UTEP (University of Texas at El Paso) and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

With over 25-years of direct experience, Lynda has executive responsibility for client services and business processes.

As Vice President, Lynda is responsible for the performance of destination services managers and account managers, as well as overall administrative functions.  Because Lynda has worn many hats for GO, she is offers clients a well-rounded perspective on service, systems, and outcomes.

Prior to joining GO Destination Services, she spent the first half of her career in corporate quality assurance in the travel industry.

Lynne was born and raised in the Indianapolis area. She has lived for the past 23 years in Noblesville. She has been in the real estate industry since 1994. Lynne brings a variety of experience with corporate relocation, customer service, negotiations, as well as management experience. The most rewarding part of being in real estate is brining buyers and sellers together, which she has been doing for 20 years. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family (especially with her two grandsons), her faith, friends, and relaxing in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Susan has been a multi-million dollar producer each year since beginning her real estate career in May 2001. She has obtained several professional designations including: CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), and ASP (Accredited Staging Professional).

Prior to real estate, Susan spent 17 years in several management roles in marketing, customer relations and training. Susan is also a 12 year member of BNI (Business Networking International) which is a referral-based networking organization that meets weekly.

Interesting/funny fact or story: At a previous employer, I used to dress up as the Easter Bunny every year for our client appreciation events. I loved it because I got to meet ALL the kids, have pictures taken and make it a FUN day for them. I always loved seeing the magic of the little one’s eyes. I really think I would make a great mascot!

Who is Sean Bird? I was born and raised in Indiana. Prior to starting my real estate career I received my Psychology degree from Purdue University. Boiler Up! I have lived in Hamilton County since college except for a short period of time where I lived in Ohio. I strongly believe Indianapolis and its’ suburbs are the best place to live in the Midwest. The city offers so many things that there is something for everyone.

What I bring to you as a Realtor? As agent, I bring knowledge about the market and any current happenings in the city.

My philosophy as an agent is… For buyers: There is a fantastic house out there to make your home.
